Case Study: Social Entrepreneurs Ireland

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) is Europe's largest Social Entrepreneurship program, supporting more than 600 social entrepreneurs and harnessing the cumulative power of people to accelerate social change. They do this through their programmes, direct funding and their incredible community of alumni, funders, and sector leaders.

Dosen is not just a tool for us, it's become part of how we envisage our future impact. Seeing our entrepreneurs thrive in a space built specifically for their growth had been an incredible reward.

Situation

Through a small team of Program Managers and Directors, the core of SEI's work is to put their portfolio through one of a number of accelerator and mentorship programs. These programs serve hundreds of businesses through the support of their alumni and mentor network.

The Challenge

The administration of these programs placed a significant operational burden on SEI, consuming time and resources that could have been spent driving impact. Manual processes limited visibility, consistency, and scalability, making it difficult to optimise delivery, measure outcomes, and expand programs effectively as demand and complexity continued to grow.

The Solution

We moved three of the SEI programs onto the Dosen platform and within weeks started to connect businesses to alumni, mentors and the information they needed to develop their companies.
